Pleco & Bottom Feeder Food

Plecos and other bottom feeders need food that sinks fast and holds together long enough to graze on. This collection covers the sinking wafers, tablets and pellets we stock for plecos, loaches and catfish, including algae, kelp and spirulina formulas.

Most common plecos are mainly grazers, so a veggie wafer makes a good staple, with a protein food now and then. Feed in the evening when they're most active, and drop food near their hiding spots so faster fish don't take it all. For smaller catfish see Corydoras food.
